       I am committed to keeping the integrity of the woodworking craft alive in each piece of furniture that I build. I do so through the use of time-honored joinery techniques,  and by implementing the same construction methods that have been used for centuries. This includes extensive use of hand tools to produce accurate and long lasting joinery.

 

         I am inspired by the works and wisdom of such  cabinet/furniture makers as, James Krenov, Sam Maloof, George Nakashima, and makers from the arts and crafts movement which include, the Stickley Brothers, and Greene and Greene.
